Lesson Objective: To establish class rules and routine through group brainstroming and discussion. With a set of rules on a poster as a result. Revise and introduce new vocabulary and collocations (animals, verbs related to animals and taking care of them etc)
1. Hello, how are you? Good, bad, happy, sad, excited etc. Rounds.
2. What are rules and why do we have rules?
3. Teacher writes prompts and examples on the bord with the help of the students (what rules do you have in school/at home?).
4. In groups think about important rules for in English class, teacher monitors and helps with the language.
5. Vote for the most important rules (max 6 in total or 4 per group depending on class size).
6. A/Z animals, 2 teams run and write. Feedback and correction.
